The New York Times

DealBook Summit Identity 

An event created by the New York Times, DealBook Summit showcases on-stage interviews with leaders in politics, business, technology and culture.  As DealBook's lead designer, I designed the 2022 event identity and oversaw the implementation of the identity system from end to end. The goal was to develop a visual language that speaks to DealBook’s business oriented audience without departing from the NYT's editorial voice.

Showtime 

VICE Series Identity 

Design for an animated series teaser to promote the second season of VICE on Showtime. The goal for this series package was to find a fresh translation to the existing VICE brand to engage new viewers but maintain consistency. 

Role: Ideation and design.

Times Talks Design 

Times Talks brings together voices from the arts, science, technology, politics, and business with New York Times journalists for a live conversation. I designed the the print, digital marketing and social applications for an event featuring film director Spike Lee.

Ziwe Series Identity

Season 01 identity for Ziwe, a talk show hosted by cultural commentator and comedian, Ziwe Fumudoh. Her talk show re-frames serious social topics with a light, satirical, and funny tone. 

Our goal for the identity design was to make it feel as unapologetic, playful and campy as Ziwe's comedy.

A modular poster sized book that explores interaction between letterforms and words. Created by using a combination of Processing code and blend modes transforms words into form, adding new meaning. The book’s form is also modular, allowing the viewer to sequence the pages, creating visual relationships across spreads.

RISD Masters Thesis Book

In Flux is documentation of the body of work I created during my Masters program at Rhode Island School of Design. My master’s thesis examines the relationship between user and technology/machine as an exchange with reciprocity rather than a hierarchical structure with an emphasis on controlled output. The non linear structure of my thesis book reflects this approach to design.
